Together, artists Joseph La Piana and Federico Diaz have conceptualized an installation of movement and dialogue for an interactive text project whereby a participant(s) and a moderator are able to communicate a dialogue to cylinders which will generate an algorithm of movement based on the language/words communicated. Large-scale canvases fitted with paint plotters would be installed and activated to show the communication between the cylinders and the participant(s)/moderator as documentation of that dialogue, a path of communication that in the end will generate a personalized painting based on the dialogue.
